
Manual Handling Training
Manual Handling is defined as "transporting or supporting of a load (including the lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving thereof) by hand or bodily force".

The Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Regulation 2007, Manual Handling of Loads, requires staff who are engaged in manual handling to receive training in the safe manual handling of loads.
This programme will provide participants the knowledge and skill necessary to lift and handle loads in a safe manner, providing an understanding of good work practices and the importance of their own fitness and health. It is a mandatory training programme and its Certification is valid for 3 years.
The programme is provided by a Qualified QQI Level 6 Manual Handling Instructor and is tailored to your Industry.
